    The Vertex rendering engine only streams context-aware pixels with associated metadata to clients rather than sending actual 3D geometry - protecting IP.  
     
  • Data Encryption in Transit and at Rest
    All data within Vertex is encrypted in transit and at rest using AES-256-bit encryption.  Encryption at rest leverages the security and reliability of the AWS Key Management Service to ensure the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of your data. 

  • Data Distributed across Multiple Servers
    Any data uploaded to Vertex is encrypted and broken into different pieces and distributed across multiple AWS servers. Original data is never vulnerable to an attack targeting a single server.

  • Data Administration
    Vertex admins have full control over the data each named user can see, how long they can see it, and what they are allowed to export. Additional security features include SSO, sharing rules, and complete audit logs. 

  • NIST CyberSecurity & SOC 2 Frameworks
    Controls modeled after relevant aspects of the NIST CyberSecurity Framework and AICPA SOC 2 control framework. SOC 2 Type 2 compliance was achieved in 2020 and 2021. AWS GovCloud deployment option is also available.
